Moves to beat opponents

Moves to create time and space
Checking to receive a pass
Receiving and turning with the ball
Mechanics of passing
Mechanics of Shooting
Mechanics of Heading
Speed, agility, balance, foot work, without the ball

Catching, throwing, footwork, positioning

The format of the academy will be as follows:
Full group functional warm up and stretching
Approximately 3, 25 minute stations of training, this allows time for short bathroom breaks, drinks, and rotation of groups.

Please note: each skill listed above will not be taught every week. Progression of activities will depend on the makeup of each group. Groups will be determined by age, ability, or both, whichever allows for the best learning to take place. Depending on the makeup of the groups, they could change weekly or remain the same.
